This year our Annual Charity Day will proudly support COUCH (Cairns Organisation United for Cancer Health), a community focused charity in North Queensland dedicated to supporting people living with cancer and their families.

Through the COUCH Cancer Hub NQ at Manoora, they offer a GP, exercise physiology, physiotherapy, oncology massage, social connection and more, all backed by research and making a real difference to the lives of those affected in our community.

Join us on Thursday 23rd October for a fun and meaningful day of golf. Nominations are now open.

Every colour in the COUCH logo carries meaning, representing a different cancer type. Players are invited to wear one of the following colours:
🩷 Pink – Breast Cancer
💛 Yellow – Sarcoma (bone) Cancer
🩵 Light Blue – Prostate Cancer
💚 Green – Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, Gallbladder, Bile Duct & Liver Cancer
🧡 Orange – Kidney & Leukaemia Cancer
💜 Purple – Pancreatic, Stomach, Oesophageal, Testicular & Gynaecological Cancer
🤍 White – Lung Cancer
💙 Dark Blue – Colon Cancer

Looking for the perfect way to keep the Kids active these school holidays? Cairns Golf Club will be hosting a fun-filled Mid-Year School Holiday Clinic for all skill levels led by PGA Professionals Rob Dehne and Josh Barr.

These 4 ½ hour clinics are packed with fun, fundamentals and fresh air! Kids will build the skills they need to feel confident on the course, whilst enjoying a safe energetic environment with morning tea and a yummy lunch provided.

All Clinics come with: Golf Clubs (if needed) Range Balls Golf should be one of the activities a child participates in to live a long and better life so come and join in the fun! Places are limited so register early to avoid missing out.

Cairns Total Physio Sunday Stableford Superleague Competition starts on Sunday 25 May and is played over 5 designated Stableford rounds with the best 3 rounds counting towards the major prize. A minimum of three rounds must be played.

A valid GA handicap issued from a golf club is essential to win the major prize, together with a minimum of 20 rounds recorded. Players must be financial at respective clubs. Handicap must be valid on the day of the event.

• Round 5 (Final Round) - Sunday 26th October

- Tee times from 6.30am-12.50pm.
- Open to all in the region with a valid GA handicap.

- All motorised carts will be available at CGC Members prices for all players.

In 2025, Golf Australia Queensland is bringing this exciting event to three locations across Queensland, making it easier than ever for more girls to play golf in Queensland.  

This unique program is designed exclusively for girls aged 5 to 18.  The signature program will be delivered by female PGA Professionals, female PGA Associate Professionals, Women's PGA Tour Professionals, and female National Program Deliverers.  The talented all-female coaching team are passionate about empowering the next generation of golfers.  

"Every Girl Can" play golf is perfect for beginners and seasoned players alike. 

The Cairns Golf Club will be hosting Far-North Queensland's program on 10-11 April 2025.

We are excited to deliver the "Every Girl Can" - Play Golf in Queensland, providing an opportunity for all girls in Queensland to learn, grow, connect, and have fun in an inspiring and supportive environment. 

We have six Clinics for 3, 6, and 9 hole players running over 2 days on Monday 14th & Tuesday 15th April.
