Hit it as far as you can, stay right of the fairway bunker on the left, leaving an approach to a very tricky green that has a narrow entrance and is well guarded by bunkers and flanked by two large gum trees.

Pro Tips

A fade off the tee is the play here. Do not hit into the deep bunkers that surround this green as it’s tricky to keep it on the green. It slopes from back to front so keep the ball short of the pin leaving an uphill putt.

Beware the two fairway traps down the right at about 230-250 metres on top of the ridge; they catch out many. The big green is an inviting target so aim for the centre and avoid bringing the two large bunkers on the left into play.

Pro Tips

Hit your tee shot to the left side of the fairway avoiding the bunkers on the right side of the fairway. Do not miss the green to the left as the 2 deep bunkers will get you into trouble

Our signature hole, and an intimidating one at that as all you see from the tee is water, water everywhere and a tiny green in the distance. You must carry it all the way or your ball will find a watery grave. There is no joy to be had over the back either; just hit the green.

Pro Tips

Choosing the right club is paramount off the tee due to the water carry and the narrow green which can be easily overshot. The wind tends to swirl and is a lot stronger into the breeze than what you feel on the tee so look to the tops of the tree behind the green to see how much wind there really is. Take the extra club to ensure you keep the golf ball dry. Short is in the water and over the green leaves a tough chip up hill. The bail out area is short and right of the green leaving you an uphill chip shot

Play this dogleg hole as a three-shotter, as a pond comes into play for those looking to get on in two. The green is a very small target with two big bunkers left and right, so the shorter club you have for your approach the better.

Pro Tips

"Leave yourself short of the pond in front of the green for your second shot so you have a 70-100m pitch shot for your third This green slopes back to front so ensure you leave the ball short of the pin for an uphill putt. Longer hitters can go for this green in 2 but it is a very small green that is raised so it can be a tough chip if you miss the green."
